Show dates: November 23, 24, 30, December 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16.
Roles in the Show: Including the Class roles of Sherlock Holmes, Mrs. Hudson and Dr. Watson, there are a total of 27 speaking parts, including several Voice-Overs and the Three Christmas Spirits.
Currently, the Director is planning on having the Play Performed by a Total of 9 Actors. Therefore, there will be actors who play as many as four roles. Most will play three parts, with the sole exception being the Role of Sherlock Holmes, which is a single actor part.
All "Doubling" of roles has been completely pre-planned to allow for costume and makeup changes.
Age Range: With the exception of a few rolls that call for the actors to be teen aged,
there are no pre-conceived ages attached to any characters. Balance is the only aim.
Sorry, but there are no Children's Roles in this production.
Age range therefore is from 13 thru 99.
Show Synopsis: This is the classic "A Christmas Carol" story, told with characters from the Sherlock Holmes genre.
It is fun, light, classic, romantic, spooky and totally creative.
Preparation: Actors should come ready to read selected scenes from the play - in Character.
